February 2006 Release - Feature Details

The February 2006 release of WebCOBRA.com was the most ambitious release yet. First launched on February 28, 2005, WebCOBRA took the HR community by storm as the only true OnDemand platform for COBRA and State Continuation. Auto QB Login Creation

USERRA

The ability to administer continuation because of a loss of coverage due to military service has been added with February '06. USERRA (Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act) has been added as a new qualifying event along with specific USERRA wording for the Election Notice.

Barcoding

Increase your productivity by adding Barcodes to each letter created. Add them to your coupons to speed entry or use the barcodes to store your letters in a third party letter storage system. Users can scan in the SSN or QBID into the main search screen and begin adding received payments, increasing their productivity by an impressive amount. You'll be able to name your barcodes for easy reference, and can use them across all Client/Employers or limit a barcode's use to one Client in particular.

Gross Misconduct

In February '06, Denial of Coverage has become even more specific. Gross Misconduct is available and allows you to easily specify the reason for the denial of coverage. Correspondence will print accordingly.

100% Subsidies

The ability to view a QB Group's status from the QB list has been updated to include those QBs that are 100% subsidized. Before, it would show a status of Enrolled, now users can easily view those that are 100% subsidized.

Document Storage

The History tab in the QB Detail quickly and easily allows users to view letters and transactions that have occurred in the QB record. Now users will be able to scan documents into WebCOBRA and store them in the History tab along with the rest of the QB's letters.

My Links

The Design and Usability team at Travis Software Corp thought it might be beneficial to the user to incorporate a My Links section on the Home page of WebCOBRA so that you can easily navigate from your COBRA Administration system. Users can easily add whatever links they need and have them appear in a specific order at the top of their Home page.

Client/Employer Inactivation

Users have requested the ability to take old Clients and inactivate them and the Web Usability team at Travis delivered! This gives users the ability to hide old Clients but go back and view them if you need to with the click of a button.
