WebCOBRA Doubles Processing Power, Increases System Speed

Houston, TX. / June 9, 2008-Travis Software Corp., a market leader of advanced employee benefits software, announced today that it has doubled the processing speed of its WebCOBRA.com system.

Many of you may have noticed that during the past few weeks a lot of WebCOBRA's functions appeared to operate much faster. It's not your imagination! We've implemented some internal programming changes to the system over the past several weekends that were designed to speed up screen refresh rates, letter production times, etc.

The "average page load" time is a typical barometer of the speed of a "Software As A" Service offering such as WebCOBRA. Our average page load speeds have decreased markedly since these changes were implemented and made available.

Last week we took another step to make WebCOBRA even better. We installed additional, faster, application processors and database servers at both of our off-site, secure "server farms" and for the first time have split the processing between the two server locations. Previously, the second server center was used only as a backup site, but now half of our total customer processing is done at Location A and half at Location B, with a constant data backup being exchanged between both sites so that either one can take over all WebCOBRA processing if one server location fails.

Adding servers, doubling the processor speed and halving the processing load of each server is designed to further speed up your access to WebCOBRA.com, your letter and report production, etc. That was the objective, and we believe we've attained it.
