WebCOBRA Improvements Are Coming
Houston, May 6, 2010--
For the past several months, Travis’ developers have been working on significant improvements to WebCOBRA On Demand that are now either in the final stages of development or in our Quality Assurance/Testing process. The efforts have been delayed by the repeated changes to COBRA and ARRA over the past months which have required "all hands on deck" efforts by our staff to produce releases for you very quickly.
Even with all the ARRA releases, we have made progress on programming these major new improvements. They are now scheduled to be added to WebCOBRA over the next few months, and are close enough to delivery that we wanted to tell you about them.
Highlights of the coming improvements are:
- Letters will be generated whenever you want them, with no waiting for all entries of data to finish before correspondence is built, accepted, and printed;
- A new Option will give Supervisory Users the ability to delete a letter(s) from a group of letters prior to acceptance and printing;
- The Internet Word Processor is being reprogrammed to be compatible with Microsoft Word;
- You’ll be able to re-activate a Former Employee Group when someone is rehired, eliminating the need to re-enter their information.
Also, we have added staff to both our Support and Development groups specifically so that support issues that you may have in the future will be resolved more quickly than has been the case in the past.
We will provide you with more, and more detailed, information about these new capabilities, when they will be released, and how to use them as we get closer to implementing them. Each of the new capabilities will be added to WebCOBRA at different times as testing for them is completed. For now, we just wanted to let you know what’s coming up in WebCOBRA.
Thank you again for being a customer!
