WebCOBRA is Now ARRA Enabled

Houston, Tex. - March 9, 2009 - Travis Software Corp., a market leader of Advanced Employee Benefits Software Administration, announced today that the WebCOBRA.com system has been updated to comply with the COBRA changes related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, ARRA, of 2009.

Changes were made throughout the system allowing Administrators to notify Qualified Beneficiaries of their potential qualification for the 65% Government Subsidy. Changes include:

  • Ability to re-notify Qualified Beneficiaries of their ability to enroll in COBRA

  • Ability to notify Qualified Beneficiaries of their ability to change COBRA Coverage.

  • Ability to apply the 65% government subsidy to Qualified Beneficiaries premiums and report back to the Government the subsidies that were applied.
