Live Backups of your Data

Travis Software has always been proactive with data recovery for our WebCOBRA.com system, incorporating a very thorough disaster recovery plan from the start of the service in 2005.

Recently, Travis has added a feature called LiveBackup to WebCOBRA that goes even further and allows restoration of data for individual Administrators. LiveBackup allows Travis staff to pinpoint a backup time in 15 minute increments during any day and restore to that specific time.

So, if one of your administrators incorrectly performs a Rate Change and prints & accepts Rate Change letters for thousands of participants, you can request that Travis restore your data to a time previous to that change so that you lose a minimum of productivity. As Travis employees must perform this activity, there is an accompanying charge for this data restoration.

For every day back in time that we much restore, there is a fee of $250. This means that if an administrator calls Travis on Wednesday asking us to restore back to Monday morning, the fee would be $500.
